*Time to Celebrate

Good morning-
Happy Sunday too!!!
Today, I want to share a card that created using the Guitar stamp set from Inspired by Stamping
I have been wanting this set, since it was released 2 months back.
Finally, I have it in my little fingers!!!  (Thank you Joanna!!!!)
So I have all boys....I am always making cards for them and although none of them are musicians, I still love the guitars and the splatters drops!!!  I love grunge!!! :)
Living with four boys, I think you have too!!! :)
Here is a close up of the Guitar, which is embossed in black sparkle embossing powder.
Also you can see the embossed brick wall background.
Just love how it all came together and I hope you like it as well.

Thank you so much for stopping by today.
See you soon.

*Seize The Birthday: Classy Taylor

Good morning!
Can I tell you how much I am looking forward to the weekend.
Besides being sick, Tommy is turning 1!!!
Yes, one already.....I can not even begin to tell you how amazingly fast that was.
It makes me sad to think of my babies growing up so quickly.

Today, it's time for another fortnightly challenge at Seize The Birthday.
This time around, the theme is always:
Happy Birthday
The optional topping is:
2 or more colored Ribbon
Since I had already colored my images weeks prior, I didn't envision my card with ribbon, so I didn't add it!!  ;(  Although the card still turned out rather beautiful.
I used an oldie but goodie; Taylored Expression Moka Collection: Taylor
For my card, I used a sketch from Kathy Curry, but forgot to add my butterfly!!  :)
So join us, I would love to see what you create with your toppings.

*SweetStamps #136: Roses

Good morning sweeties!
Tuesday already and it is time for another great challenge over at SweetStamps.
This weeks challenge is:
ROSES

For my card today, I am using the brand new Wedding Doves and Scripture stamp, by Jacqueline Hill, which was released this month.  I love, love this stamp and the scripture is just so fitting and again beautiful!!! I have colored the image with my Copics. I added two roses at the top, using CLD Miniature Rose die and stardust glitter glue, to the rings.

A very simple design, but the image and scripture speak volume for a perfect Wedding/ Anniversary card.  I used red roses to symbolize the unity and love.

Make sure to visit the SweetStamps blog and check out the amazing creations created by the rest of the team.  You will definitely be inspired.

I have fell in love with vellum all over again!!!  :)

For my card today, I am using Holiday Sentiments by Inspired by Stamping, which I stamped on vellum and embossed with white embossing powder.  Love these new sentiments!!
I stitched around the circle and added these frosty bling gems, for added texture and beauty.

*Bobbing for Apples

Good morning!!
Are you watching college football today?
Who is your favorite team?
My son is in the other room watching the games this morning, so I had to ask!!  :)

So I created a card a few days ago, using the September Stamp of the Month at From The Heart.
This gorgeous image is called: Bobbing for Apples
Is it not simply gorgeous!!
I really enjoyed coloring it, especially those apples!!  Yummy!
I have never played this game, but my husband has memories from his grade school days.

Do you see the stitched ribbon.
That ribbon is from my sons Christmas boxes from Gymboree.
Hey, nothing is ever trash, especially when it comes to ribbon!!  :)
The apple is  a wood veneer from Studio Calico, that I blinged out, then colored over the top with my Copic marker.  I then applied glossy accent on top, to keep the gems from falling.
Pretty cute huh!!?

Well you have about none more days to enter the Progressive Monthly Stamp of the Month.

*IBS + Seize The Sketch #4

Good morning!
Are you missing me this week? LOL
I have been pretty quiet since this weekend, but it's all because the boys and I have caught a bug.
We all have coughs, sore throats and Buddy has an ear infection.
No fun at all I tell ya!!

So I am here to share a card I made earlier this week, using the new Christmas Digital Paper, Printables and Holiday Tags stamps by Inspired By Stamping
I have sewn all my papers and added glitter glass to the snowflakes and star.
Love that stuff and it's pitiful to say I only use this fun material to make Christmas cards!!
I do have to confess that I am loving these new digital papers!

I would like to share this card in the following challenges:

Morning sweeties.
Thank you for stopping in today!!
Did you get a chance to see this months technique challenge over at SweetStamps?
If you didn't, cleck HERE to get all the deatails.

Now, this weeks challenge is:
WESTERN
Love this theme!!  Now, you know when you have something so perfect, that you just can't seem to find it?!  Well that was my problem earlier this week, when I sat down to get started on this card.
I knew I had these papers soemwhere, but for the life of me just could not find them anywhere.
As you can see I found them afterall!!!  LOL
The reason I had time was because, the sheets were cut down to 6 x 12!!
Ahhhh.....right!!??  LOL
I just love that image it's called: Horse Portriat Oval 3003
Inked with Memento ink and colored with Copic.
Very few embellishments on this card.  Just wanted the horse to be the focus.

So I hope that you will join us this week and show us your beautiful Western creations.
Can't wait to see what you create for us.

For my card today, I am using image #810 School Books

*SweetStamps September Technique Month

Good morning-
Are you ready for this month's technique challenge over at SweetStamps!!
I hope you are because it's a fun one and one that I love doing often.
This months technique is all about:
Paper Piecing
I really love how my card today came together.  Love all the colors matted on kraft cardstock.
For my card, I am using Baby Bear 219 and With Love 3041
I used Soleil by Basic Grey patterned paper for my entire card!!!
The patterned and colors are very non-traditional in pattern, so I was determined to make it work!!
****A tip when Paper Peicing, small or big peices of paper.  Before adhering you peices together, run a black marker along the edges of your paper. This will give a more complete and clean finish to your project.****

So I hope you have enjoyed my project and will join us this month.
We all love paper piecing and I can not wait to see, what you create for us.
